Founder & CEO: Restorative Notions
In 2002 I graduated from Mount Saint Mary's University in Maryland with a Psychology degree and no idea what I was going to do with it. Since I was 18 years old I've worked with young people in foster care, group homes and special needs. I've always had the innate desire to help, encourage and empower, and getting a Psychology degree seemed like the most logical next step, but I never believed there was only one true path to healing. Being a survivor of my own childhood traumatic experiences, I began tapping into the multiple ways I healed and thought, how can I help others and share with them what I know? That question led me to the field of Women's Studies and then Integral Coaching. Both paths have led me to help my audiences, workshop participants and clients break through the obstacles that seem to be holding them back in life; life's too short to be unhappy, unsure, or unfulfilled.
I have also utilized my experiences working as a counselor, mentor, college prep advisor, advocate, tutor, crisis manager, and manager of programs in all my different careers. I am well versed at using creative, non-threatening interventions for anger management, conflict resolution, and decision-making that protect, develop, engage, and encourage anyone I work with. I am an excellent communicator, trustworthy liaison, and a person of high integrity.
I have taught workshops teaching the fundamentals of healthy relationships, to participants ranging in age from 13-35. I am a collaborator with anyone I work with, and my workshops are engaging, and interactive. I don't fix people, but I do make them think. I enjoy what I do, one person, group or lecture hall at a time and my mission is to always help anyone who's willing to do the work, live their most authentic life.
